Fixed-mobile convergence quarterly metrics 4Q 2020
- Report Description Table of Contents
Fixed–mobile convergence (FMC) is a growing, if not well-established, trend in many European telecoms markets and is increasingly prevalent in the Asia–Pacific region. We include China in this iteration for the first time. The Chinese market has been shaped by FMC bundling and over 70% of broadband accounts are bundled with a mobile subscription.
As the importance of fixed–mobile bundling grows, so does the importance of understanding operator performance and country differences. This quarterly metrics dataset provides the number of fixed–mobile accounts, associated SIMs and revenue by operator for 16 countries overall.
The following metrics are used.
