On January 25, 2018, PTMLU signed a framework cooperation agreement with Harcan Engineering Co Ltd.

Design works are underway. The project is scheduled to be operational in August 2019, however the project facing delay, due to land acquisition issues.

The project involves the construction of a 100MW gas-fired power plant on 4.2ha of land in Bangka, Sumatra, Indonesia.
