The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is undertaking the upgrade of Northern Corridor in Auckland, New Zealand.

On December 12, 2016, Aurecon and Green Group prepared the assessment of effects on the environment report.

On December 14, 2016, NZTA submitted a planning application to Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).

On February 22, 2017, EPA holds public notification sessions regarding the project plans.

In March 2017, EPA carried a series of public consultations.

On May 2, 2017, a pre-hearing conference was held to unveil the project plans.

On August 11, 2017, a hearing conference was held to discuss the project plans.

On October 4, 2017, NZTA prepared the project draft report.

On November 16, 2017, NZTA prepared the project final report.

On November 22, 2017, the project received the planning approvals.

In February 2018, NZTA awarded a contract to a joint venture between HEB Construction, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction and Fulton Hogan, with Opus International Consultants Ltd and Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. to provide design and construction services for the project.

Construction is expected to commence in 2018 and is scheduled to be complete by 2022.

The Northern Corridor project involves the upgrade and construction of road sections in Auckland, New Zealand.

The US$512 million project includes the following:
