BRS Saglik Yatirim A.S. (BRS) and Minister of Health of the Republic of Turkey (MHoT) are undertaking the construction of an integrated health campus in Nilufer District, Bursa Province, Turkey.

BRS, a special purpose vehicle formed by Ronesans Holding A.S., Ronesans Saglik Yatirim A.S., Sila Danismanlik Bilisim Saglik Insaat Ticaret A.S., SAM Yapi Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Sti., TTT Saglik Hizmetleri Egitim Insaat Sanayi Ticaret A.S., and Meridiam Eastern Europe Sarl.

The project includes the construction of a 1,355-bed integrated three hospitals on 830,813m2 of land. It includes the construction of a 1,055-bed main hospital, a 200-bed physical therapy and rehabilitation hospital and a 100-bed high-security forensic psychiatric hospital, parking and related facilities, and the installation of elevators and security systems.

The main hospital consists of four patient blocks which include a 273-bed general hospital, 275-bed cardiovascular diseases hospital, 264-bed oncology hospital, 243-bed women and children's, general and psychiatric hospital.

PM Global Project Management Team has been appointed as a management consultant, Mott & Macdonald International Inc as a technical consultant, Ronesans Medical Construction Inc as a contractor, NKY Musavirlik as a study consultant.

On June 19, 2015, BRS signed an agreement with MHoT for the construction works and the provision of products and services of the project.

In September 2015, An Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process commneced.

On November 8, 2017, the project achieved the financial closure.

As of February 2018, planning activities are underway.

Construction is expected to complete by the first quarter of 2019.

Scope

The project includes the construction of a 1,355-bed integrated three hospitals on 830,813m2 of land in Nilufer District, Bursa Province, Turkey.

The US$570 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of a 1,055-bed main hospital

2. Construction of a 200-bed physical therapy and rehabilitation hospital

3. Construction of a 100-bed high-security forensic psychiatric hospital

4. Construction of parking facilities

5. Installation of elevators and security systems

6. Construction of related facilities
