Knight Dragon Developments Ltd (Knight Dragon) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use community in London, the UK.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use community on 64.7ha of land. It includes the construction of 15,720 homes including 220 services apartments, 23,500m2 of retail, restaurants and a 500-room hotel, 60,000m2 of business space, 40,000m2 of film and media studios.

The project is being developed in Three Stages namely Upper Riverside, Lower Riverside and Parkside.

Upper Riverside:

Upper Riverside area and is being developed in two phases, which consists five waterfront buildings with of 1,007 apartments.

The first phase of the project includes the construction of two buildings of 21- and 23-story with 464 homes.

The second phase of the project includes the construction of three buildings comprising 543 homes.

In July 2014, Knight Dragon submitted detailed plans of the Upper Riverside to the Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG) and RBG approved the plan in August 2014.

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) Architects has been appointed as architect, Gross Max Ltd as the landscape architect and Design Research Studios and State of Craft Limited as the interior designers, 3DD - Outstanding Architectural Models as a design consultant for the project.

Morrisroe has been appointed as the Basement contractor and Mace Group as the construction contractor.

In March 2015, construction works commenced and are underway.

Lower Riverside:

The project involves the construction of five towers namely The Lighterman, The Waterman, Waterman Gardens, The Fulmar and The Norton.

The Lighterman tower involves the construction of three buildings, including a 23-story tower will see 103 homes of 224 residential units in total. Careyjones Chapmantolcher has been appointed as an architect, Conran + Partners as an interior design for the Lighterman tower.

Lighterman tower construction work completed in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The Waterman tower involves the construction of a 30-story features 269 homes of which 160 will be affordable homes. Marks Barfield Architects has been appointed as architect for marketing suite and Pilbrow and Partners as an architect for the Waterman tower.

The Waterman Gardens involves the construction of a 23-story tower. Pilbrow and Partners appointed as an architect and Conran + Partners as an interior designer for the Waterman Gardens tower.

The Fulmar tower involves the construction of a 10-story comprises of 139 homes and a garden space. DSDHA has been appointed as an architect and Jestico + Whiles as an interior design for the Fulmar Tower.

Construction work completed in December 2016.

The Norton tower involves the construction of a 9-story tower, living area, and parking space.

Construction work on Norton tower was completed in 2015.

Parkside:

The project involves the construction of two towers namely Cable&Roper and The Moore.

Cable&Roper towers include the construction of five buildings ranging from 2 to 11 story, which comprises of 201 apartments.

The Moore includes the construction of four buildings ranging from 3 to 10 story, comprises of 144 apartments.

Jestico + Whiles has been appointed as an architect for the cable and roper towers.

CF Møller has been appointed as an architect for the Moore Tower. Wates construction was appointed as a construction contractor, Price & Myers LLP as a structural engineer, Foreman Roberts Consulting Ltd as an MEP consultant for the two towers.

In March 2016, construction works on Cable&Roper and The Moore-towers completed.

In February 2017, Meinhardt UK appointed as a structural engineer for Upper and Lower Riversides.

Savills plc and CBRE have been appointed as the marketing consultants.

As of December 2017, 1,172 residential units have been constructed.

Construction is underway and entire development is expected to be completed by 2032.
